Time Sensitive documents - For time sensitive documents requiring an authentication or apostille we highly recommend the use of expedited shipping through Federal Express. Other forms of mail, including U.S. Postal Service “Express Mail” or “Priority Mail”, do not get delivered directly to our Public Service Counter for expedited processing and are processed as regular mail, which could delay processing of your documents.
Fastest - Online filing - Online filing is the fastest way to register or renew your business registration! Business registrations submitted through our online systems are processed on the same or next business day. UCC financing statements and amendments are filed when submitted!
Slower - USPS mail - Please allow one to two weeks for processing and acknowledgment of mailed forms.
Courier/Drop-off Service - Documents submitted to our Public Service Counter (255 Capitol Street NE, Suite 151, Salem, OR 97310) by private courier, or express mail courier (FedEx or UPS) are generally processed the day received.
Expedited Shipping - It is possible to get expedited shipping by sending your documents through FedEx http://www.fedex.com/us/oadr/. We will also send FedEx envelopes that are filled out with your account number and address information as the sender, and the people you want to receive the package as the recipient. Your bill would indicate "Bill Sender."

Due to an increase in the number of errors interpreting hand-written documents, the Corporation Division requests that you type and print all business registration documents. In general, typed documents will receive priority processing over hand-written documents when submitted for filing. |

Business Registration forms are available in PDF format, some forms can be completed and filed online. If the form is available for online filing, that option will be listed as Register Online, Renew Online, or Generate Form (to print a special form to mail).Fees
