Services available through the
Central Business Registry

The State of Oregon is working to expand the number and variety of online services available through the Central Business Registry.  The services currently available include:

Registrations with the Secretary of State, Corporation Division
 Assumed Business Name registration (also known as a DBA)
 Oregon Business Corporation registration
 Foreign Business Corporation registration
 Oregon Limited Liability Company registration
 Oregon Nonprofit Corporation registration
 Printable copy of the above registrations

Registrations for Employer Payroll Taxes
 Combined Employer Registration (for Oregon Payroll Tax Reporting) from the Oregon
     Departments of Revenue, Employment, and Consumer & Business Services, if you will have
     employees. 

The Central Business Registry system will allow you to complete these registrations by submitting the required information to the agencies listed below. Once your registration is completed, you will receive your account information from the participating agencies.

Use the Business Wizard to determine other government requirements for your business. The Business Wizard is designed for those who are just starting out and may need assistance to know which government requirements apply to their business and what resources may be available to them. The Business Wizard will provide a list of referrals and possible licensing requirements for registering a new business based on your answers.
